Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the booking and provision of consultation services by The Meeting Point ("we", "our", "us"). By booking an appointment, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Our Services
The Meeting Point provides professional career, leadership and workplace consultancy, including career coaching, CV reviews, interview preparation, mentoring and strategic advisory sessions.
Our services are intended to support informed decision-making. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, including employment, promotion, salary increases, business success or interview offers.
2. Booking and Payment
Appointments are confirmed only once:
your booking has been completed through our online booking system; and
full payment has been successfully received.
All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (£).
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling
We understand that plans sometimes change.
You may reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time.
You may cancel your appointment up to 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time.
Where at least 24 hours notice is provided, you may:
reschedule your appointment free of charge; or
Where at least 48 hours notice is provided, you may:
request a full refund.
Appointments cancelled with less than 72 hours' notice are non-refundable.
Failure to attend your appointment without notice will be treated as a no-show and no refund will be issued.
We reserve the right to make exceptions where exceptional circumstances exist.
4. Late Arrival
If you arrive late, your consultation will still finish at the scheduled time so that subsequent appointments are not affected.
If you are more than 15 minutes late without prior contact, we may treat the appointment as a missed appointment.
5. Our Right to Rearrange or Cancel
Occasionally circumstances outside our control may require us to rearrange an appointment.
If this happens, we will offer you:
an alternative appointment; or
a full refund.
Our liability shall be limited to the amount you have paid for the appointment.
6. Confidentiality
Everything discussed during your consultation will be treated as confidential unless:
disclosure is required by law;
there is a safeguarding concern; or
you have given us permission to share information.
7. Professional Advice
Consultations are based on our professional knowledge and experience.
Any decisions or actions you take following a consultation remain entirely your own responsibility.
Nothing provided during a consultation constitutes legal, financial, tax or regulated professional advice.
8. Intellectual Property
All consultation materials, templates, worksheets, presentations, written guidance and resources supplied by The Meeting Point remain our intellectual property.
They are provided for your personal use only and may not be copied, shared, reproduced or sold without our prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
Nothing within these Terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the provision of our services shall be limited to the total amount paid for the relevant appointment.
We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of earnings, business opportunities or future income.
10. Privacy
We process personal information in accordance with UK data protection legislation.

We aim to acknowledge complaints within five working days and work with you to resolve any concerns promptly and fairly.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
